Wood Pellet Furnace
Like the common oil furnace, a wood pellet furnace
is either a boiler or a forced hot air unit that
is pellet
fired a placed in a basement or adjacent furnace
room the the dwelling.
All of these wood pellet furnace units can be
installed to fit your current forced hot air duct
work or central zoned hot water base board heat.
All them come attached with large storage bins
known as "The Hopper" that can hold
several days worth of wood
pellet fuel. Available options also include
a outdoor bulk holding unit known as "The
Silo" with a automatic self feeding system
between the silo and the furnace
Unlike a wood pellet stove, the furnace can be
left to run 24 hours a day as a primary source
of heating. They also can provide domestic hot
water as well.
